It Was Almost 3 A.M. I Was Looking Up At The Sky Track

I’m a big fan of 80’s Genesis, and when I heard the drum pattern of Second Home By The Sea more than 30 years ago, I was blown away. So when I bought a software drum synthesizer which produces Simmons SDS-V sound, I spend probably an hour just to playback that drum pattern while I was playing guitar along with it. Then this song came up to me.
In this song, I used my Fender Telecaster guitar, which was customized to generate a sitar-like buzzy sound. The song title is basically an afterthought - since usually, I don’t care about the title when I’m composing a song. However, I realized that the word “3 A.M.” has become a nice nod toward KLF, which is also one of my favorite bands.
