William Tyler is the consummate Nashville lifer, having played with the likes of Will Oldham, Silver Jews, Candi Staton, Kurt Wagner, and Rhys Chatham. More than just a mesmerizing guitarist, he frames together layers of delicately fine instrumental pieces with a grace and fragile simplicity that has to be sat with and patiently savored to be fully appreciated.
