Biography
Thursday November 10 2011, Ralph Samuelson and Yoko Hiraoka present a selection of works including the premiere of Elizabeth Brown’s Afterimage for shakuhachi and shamisen, as well as Ned Rothenberg’s Naki Tokoro Nite (Where There is Neither), which appears on Rothenberg’s 2010 Tzadik CD “New Music for Shakuhachi”, and two works from Japanese composers Takashi Koto, and Teizo Matsumura.
