The Garden Album

The Garden is the first album written, played and produced by Monkey Mind.  Recorded in Oakland, California, this eclectic mix of songs features a muscular, guitar-oriented sound.  Some of the songs are about desperate or alienated characters (All the Happy People; Loser), some are angry political rants (Hypocrisy) or criticisms of our manic, hyper-commercial culture (In the Morning; The Party), and some are love songs (Walk a Mile with Me; My Baby’s Love).   They’re about the world we live in, where we all have to live with our own monkey minds as best we can.
