Biography
A Mammal of Paradise is a loner living in a forest full of holy fools and lovers on the make and hatching an escape. The debut record evokes a melodious journey through a postmodern landscape of fragmented imagery, struggling to forge something true through a soaring actualization of sound. If a Mammal of Paradise could speak, it might remind us, “Music is frequency. You and I are frequency. We vibrate together?” The last part, spoken out of the side of its mouth, as much an invitation to fornicate on a bed of soft moss as to state an obvious fact.
