New York's Life In A Blender's sound is as mixed as their name would suggest. Over the past 25 years, it's ranged from early noise punk roots to orchestrated chamber pop to experimental folk. Their songs weave together strings, guitars and harmonies into soundscapes that color songwriter Don Ralph's quirky and at times darkly comedic poetics.
