Biography
In Nov. 2008, a spontaneous duo came together from separate worlds of discipline. Kelly Slusher, a pop recording artist with a handful of records and a host of melodic, soothing songs, met Sean Ongley, improviser-composer, known for jarring counterpoint and psychedelic sound design. Kelly’s understated voice and innate melody compliments Sean’s knowledge of arrangement and harmony. This is Imra: sound merging with the glue of common intention, sacred music, love, and universal tones. February 2009, Imra released their debut ep, “A Sunrise” available for download and cdbaby.com.
