Biography
Mysterious four-piece punk band from Long Island, NY. Self-released one noisy and incredible 45 in '79, "Demo to London" b/w "Coma Dos," before changing their name to the Sponsors and pursuing a much more palatable mix of power-pop, new wave and punk. The Sponsors would cut one underrated LP for the Plexus label in '82 before calling it a day.
