Biography
Fust is a band based in Brooklyn that performs songs written by Aaron Dowdy. Following the sound and history of private-press, as well as inadequately distributed and recorded country and folk records, Fust offers songs at the tension between the American music archive and poor sound. Fust has released seven four-song EPs available on Bandcamp, each inspired by the ethos of darkened, or even blackened approaches to music making and songwriting. The live band currently features John Wallace, Frank Meadows and Avery Sullivan. [Alphaville]
