Biography
If there could be said to be a big bang for what would eventually become the pub rock movement of early 70s England, it would be the pub gigs that American band Eggs Over Easy began to play in 1971. Once British bands began to see that a rootsy, good time rock 'n' roll band could draw big crowds, the pub rock circuit was born. Eventually, pub rock would of course lead to punk rock.
