D+

D+ formed as a place for Bret Lunsford's song writing (with Denise Crowe and Rich Papritz) outside of his play with Beat Happening. D+ and Knw-yr-own formed one another in the mid 1980s in and around Anacortes as an outgrowth of these evergreen currents: decentralized expressive hearts. Phil Elverum and Karl Blau joined with Bret in the mid 1990s to make several D+ albums, some on the inspirational K Records label and all available here. It continues.
