Biography
Philadelphia's Cold Cave is a new band who brings industrial noise back to its early '80s roots. With three keyboards and assaulting backing tracks, the band calls to mind artists such as Maurizio Bianchi, SPK, Whitehouse, and the aggressive and addictive sounds of early Front 242. Cold Cave's three 2008 releases (a self released 12" on Heartworm, a 7" on New York's Hospital Records and a 12" on Dais Records) are beautiful and sonically cathartic. -Michael Goodstein
