Biography
Twilight Tipi (formerly Byrd/Thompson) is the experimental dark ambient duo of Rob Byrd on processed guitar treatments and Kris Thompson on effects-laden theremin. Their periodic live improvisations have taken place in forests, living rooms, festivals, loft spaces and nightclubs alike. In April 2011, they released Twilight Tipi, a collection of recordings from most of the above locales. February 2014 saw the release of PANSTARRS, which was recorded while the comet of that name was passing through our solar system.
