Description

Three of the four members of Black Sea Hotel perform a variety of a capella Balkan tunes for WFMU. Some are original arrangements, some borrowed from their favorite composers. A mixture of duets and trios, some reconfigured to accomodate for their missing limb, Joy Nirenstein, but all filled out beautifully by the ones present. The performance is a sampling of the diverse styles of Balkan composition and a persuasive demonstration of the vocal talent of Black Sea Hotel.
