Description

Composer & multi-instrumentalist Ashley Paul dropped by WFMU to play a mesmerizing set of solo music drawn from fragile folk forms and introspective experimental meanderings. Her one-woman arsenal includes voice, sax, guitar, various bells, bowed cymbals, warbly cassettes, etc. all adding up to songs that are patient, sparse and tense in a way quite unlike anything else. Ashley's gripping LP Line the Clouds is out on the REL label.
