Biography
Out Now was created based on serious consideration of
the essence of jazz, and what jazz is about today. The label is a product of
our love, commitment and appreciation of this most elastic of musical forms,
and the understanding that jazz is far more than Swing or any particular form
of articulation. Jazz is a way of life, a path which has to continue
being discovered in order to exist.
The label presents daring and abstract explorations by
unique acts, such as: an electronic trio, solo acoustic guitar and unusual
electro-acoustic quartets, playing composed works as well as totally improvised
music. Our motto is: “Search within yourself for the sound you never stop
hearing.”
